They fit true to size (check the size chart), and have a high-waisted, wide band. The top of the leggings are solid black, and the legs are a lighter color when you put them on. The design is part of the fabric and doesn’t stretch out. I worked out in the leggings. They were very comfortable, did not slide down, and the band didn’t roll at all. Solid 5/5 :)
